Spending on staff 'doubles' under health trust reforms |

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust - which now runs both the Royal Blackburn Hospital and Burnley General Hospital have been slammed for failing to recruit and maintain NHS nurses.HOSPITAL bosses at the Trust have almost doubled their use of temporary staff because stressed out medical workers are leaving in droves. The trust have resorted to hiring temporary staff from private agencies costing anything between £30 and £100 an hour. Ordinary nurses cost only around £15 per hour to employ. |
